The only drawback to these gloves is the price. The gauntlet-length was perfect to fit over wetsuit sleeves and stay there. The fit was perfect for my hand size, and dexterity was outstanding. I scoffed at another review that said "you'll forget you're wearing gloves", but it's totally accurate. You will literally forget you're wearing them while you're on a dive. Unless you're remembering how warm your hands are.
Now, these gloves are pretty thin, so they don't retain a ton of heat, but they served me very well in mid to low 70s saltwater. It was a very strong improvement over bare hands. They don't feel overly warm, but you'll recall about halfway through the dive how your hands aren't cold, and you're not trying to stick them in nonexistent pockets to warm them up. The thickness seems to be a perfect tradeoff between flexibility and heat retention.
