I weighed it on a gram scale and it's actually 3.5 lbs, not the 2 as advertised. My handle doesn't adjust, pulled the unit that contained the two lock pins out, and the bar wouldn't come up. After using a real carbon fiber one, I think I'll just fork over the extra money. Hey, it's cheap, but it also mean that it's cheaply made.
Great paddle... SUP every weekend on the beach and sometimes on the lake. And also floats. A little heavy but ok for recreational.
I bought this paddle for friends and relatives to use when I take them Stand Up Paddleboarding. It adjust easily and can accommodate paddlers of any height. I also love the way it breaks down for ease of travel in the trunk of my car! It's not as light as my carbon fiber paddle, but it costs 1/3 of what I paid for that paddle and it is adjustable. A good choice for a spare paddle and for those times you take someone along on your extra board. ......
