I placed this on my 2005 Nissan Xterra, loaded it it up with well over the 150lb limit that it suggests. I drove from Phoenix to Alaska w/o any problems. It doesn't make much if and added wind noise that I noticed. I had 30 gallons of gas and 100lbs of groceries (in a weather proof bag) tied them down with a couple ratchet straps and was on my way. Great Purchase! I'm glad I did not spend $300-$400 on a different rack.
I received my Curt rack this morning, not sure what to expect after reading a review that a previous customer had posted. To my surprise the rack was everything I could have asked for and more. I have owned several other cargo baskets on previous vehicles that have cost me nearly 4x what this curt rack costs, so I was half expecting to get a cheap rack that wouldn't hold any cargo which is NOT the case with this rack.
