I need a new water shoe and first tried the Remix but sent them back because of the weird shape. (read my review) Then I tried these. I just got off a week long river trip with these shoes and I HATE THEM! At home, they felt ok, pretty wide in the toe box, in fact I'd say too wide and I have wide feet. The length was true to size. I wear a size 10. The velcro strap was fine and held the shoe on with no problems, and I did not feel that they were difficult to get on, you just have to tug a little harder to pull them on. Once they got wet, they felt even bigger and my feet were swimming around in the shoe. They rubbed a really nice blister/raw spot on my right little toe so the last couple days were pretty uncomfortable. Traction of the shoe was ok when I was inside my IK, they seemed to grip to the boat pretty well, but can't say the same when out of the boat and on the sandy rocks, I always felt like I was going to slip and fall, just not enough ......
