For several years I've been wanting to buy a kayak to go with my canoe, which I can paddle alone but wanted something better for solo trips. Then a recent trip to the beach made me aware of paddleboards. I couldn't decide between an SUP or a SOT - until some internet surfing made me aware of Imagine Surf's products. I couldn't find many reviews, but the ones I did find were positive, so I took a chance.

I have only had it out once so far, but I'm quite pleased with the performance. The wind was pretty strong, but even with the handicap, it moved about quickly and tracked straight. The construction seems solid and I had no damage from shipping whatsoever. One thing: this board is HEAVY! My 14' canoe weighs only slightly more. Once I was in the water though, the weight was no longer an issue. After a few hours of practicing, I was scouting around pretty well. I had expected to fall in a few times, but the Speeder is very stable,......
