I took a chance and ordered a size larger than the measurements said I should and I am GLAD I did. THIS ITEM RUNS SMALL...not to mention to the size I ordered was3 sizes bigger than what I normally wear. That being said, it is a lightweight shirt and is comfortable. I haven't taken it in the water yet, just wanted to let people know it does run small.
UPDATE: I have now worn this swimming and I like it. It isn't heavy in the water and dries fairly quickly. It's nice to be able to go swimming without feeling self-conscious.
I wear a XXL. I bought the 4X because I know these shirts run tight. This shirt fit like a XL. I loved the style/look of the shirt. I wish it would have fit correctly but I had to return it.
