Product Review

There is great surfing in here by Curren and also by Gary Elkerton and others. But there should be more. This could be a heat-by-heat movie with great music showing all the great waves Curren rode to win the title but there is not enough surfing here and sometimes there seems to be too much talk (interviews etc). The talking parts are not boring the first time you watch, but it gets hard to see them more than once. And the surfing parts should be way longer. This thing coulda be re-released with extras showing only the surfing with music over it, I could watch it everyday because Curren surfs really great.

Tom Curren has inspired me more than any other surfer, but if you've seen In Search of Tom Curren or his biography with Kelly Slater, then you've already seen almost all the footage here. Plus, here Tom seems more spoiled, less of a soul surfer. Flow is a much more engaging, interesting film - I'd give that 4 1/2 stars. Sep......
