I have been wearing this for snorkeling, either under a short-sleeve wetsuit or alone. It doesn't slow me down in the water like a t-shirt, it blocks the sun, and it adds just a little bit of warmth. I can't say much about durability, as I have only worn it about 10 times, but so far so good.
I wear medium or small shirts, and the large fits me well. I found the sizing information on the company web site confusing, since I was at least 3 different sizes depending on which way I measured myself. Large was a guess, and it turned out to be perfect - snug but not constricting.
I normally wear a men's medium and ordered an extra large size. It is still basically almost skin tight, not super easy to get on and off. However, being tight makes swimming easier. The extra large size makes the length just about right to cover my wrists, etc. I definitely recommend going 2 sizes up. I imagine in a couple of years, more p......
