Bought this for a new big wave board I ordered. First real test was solid Himalayas. Took a few on the head and did not need to swim in. Happy with the product for sure.

The leash may seem an expensive add on but with it's design, it is totally worth it's cost. The triple velcro closure on the board side ensures that it won't let go of the board while on the ankle side, it's got plenty of room to even tether to some smaller thighs. All this and it has a convenient sealed key pocket in the ankle strap. I may only SUP on calmer waters but the occasional boat or higher winds sometimes get one off balance. I like it.
