Product Review
I bought this rack to fit 3 surf boards, a 6'4", 6"2", and 9'2" and it works well. Installation was fairly easy for the 3 rack combo already pre-assembled.
If you do it this way, make sure to flatten out the assembly as it will be flexed before you put pressure on it. The parts are a bit difficult to assemble, which makes me doubt how easy it would be to just snap another rack on, although with a hammer this would probably work. I did try to snap one off to fix a drill hole in the wall, but this didn't seem like it would happen without some wall or rack damage. I just bypassed this one hole and it was fine.
The rack holds my 3 boards nicely, but I could see the middle of some short boards hitting the wall in the middle. Also, if you had 2 or more long boards with large fins, this may be a problem too.
All in all I'm pretty happy with it, but $75 seems a bit much to pay for molded ABS. Seeing that's pretty mu......
